Generation Y and Dementia: How Dementia is Impacting Younger Adults This presentation focuses on the impact of dementia on the younger generation: Generation Y (adults born between the 1980s and 1990s. Participants will leave these presentation with more information about dementia, how it may impact their generation (specifically their parents), how to identify normal aging vs abnormal aging, and what resources exist and who to speak to if they need assistance.
Understanding and Managing Behaviors A person with dementia has many behaviors some may consider problematic. By understanding the behaviors we will be able to utilize the most appropriate techniques for each client to successfully manage those behaviors before they become a problem.
