Maxim Wheatley

Maxim has been involved in the DC tech startup community since getting his start in the inaugural startup incubator at Georgetown University as its youngest member. Maxim has since been involved in two other startups in the DC area, having also started two businesses in the last six years. Maxim graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in Cognitive Science & Psychology, with experience in NIH-funded brain research. He also writes for the NYC-based startup publication “AlleyWatch”.

A big picture person, with an appreciation for the details. Maxim is passionate about all things startup, focused on venture fundraising, marketing, and technology strategy. Maxim understands exactly what it takes to take an idea from concept to product and into high-growth scalability.
